Hotel Resilient's COVID-READY Program: Supporting hotels to re-open safely during the Covid-19 pandemic with free and openly accessible tools

There is much a hotel can and should do to protect its guests and staff from the Covid-19 threat. In fact, there are so many things to consider, it may seem overwhelming. This talk provides an overview of Hotel Resilient's international project COVID-READY, which provides online solutions that outline steps hotels should take to strengthen Covid-19 prevention and response strategies and earn the trust of safety-minded travelers. All tools are openly accessible and free of charge. The talk will also describe the optional COVID-READY certification program, and highlight the experience in implementing the COVID-READY protocols from individual hotels to hotel associations to different ministries and government agencies currently participating in the COVID-READY program in Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Latin America.
