About this speaker
Laura's career in the travel industry spans back to the last century. She started in the field by developing CNN's original travel programming. She reported on travel for that network for nearly five years. Most recently, she served as luxury editor and wellness correspondent for Skift. In between, Laura has headed up a video production company specializing in travel, has served as a consultant for major industry companies and associations, and has written for publications ranging from The Washington Post to USA Today. She frequently appears on television as a guest travel expert as well.
Laura received her M.A. from the University of Essex in England, with additional graduate studies at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Italy.
