I co-founded and edit Travindy, the first travel industry news site to focus on the ideas, innovations and issues shaping a sustainable future for tourism.

My book looking at how to build a sustainable travel industry - Transforming Travel - realising the potential of sustainable tourism - was published in January 2018. It’s available for free download throughout the Coronavirus Crisis.

I consult, provide copywriting, and deliver other communication services for sustainable tourism, ranging from digital campaigns and communication audits, to branding and sustainability strategy. Current and recent clients include Bruggse Ommeland, Tripadvisor, Rotterdam Partners, WTM, European Travel Commission, English National Parks, the Travel Foundation, Visit Finland, PATA, WTTC, and various independent hotels, lodges and tour companies.

I write a fortnightly blog on responsible tourism for World Travel Market. I am a members of the independent advisory board for Travalyst.
